Your ideal slow morning always starts with construction above you. I think the worst part of it all is that you have no idea what is happening and continually wondering if there is a chance your ceiling could fall in.
Mornings are this elusive thing. At least for me I hate waking up early, but when I have a couple hours in the morning I want to wake up and drink coffee and write in bed. The picture perfect morning where you actually achieve something.
Let’s all come together for the common good and change the way we look at mornings. They should be lazy with a cup of coffee in hand while you walk around your room for at least 10 minutes trying to decide on which shirt to wear. This is me every morning if I don’t pick out my clothes the night before. It’s a shirt! This isn’t something that is going to change your entire life.
The music isn’t loud enough to drown out the sounds of this construction. I guess I can just get ready and go to work early. Oh, Wednesday, you really know how to kick a girl while she’s down.
